ADVERTISING
We offer many services to help our members obtain students and ensure that the ARMTA name is before the public as much as possible, using all of the mediums available to us: newspapers, telephone, radio, brochures and our own website. Our website is full of information for members, non-members, students and their parents and includes the names, district, phone numbers, and areas of expertise of all ARMTA members, as well as raising awareness of the quality of music education available in Alberta. Additionally, members may advertise the activities in their studios for free through the e-mail service.
TEACHER REFERRAL BROCHURE
This contains names, phone numbers and areas of expertise of our members and is organized by district. This brochure is distributed city wide to music stores, libraries etc. in order to help prospective students and teachers connect.

GROUP INSURANCE
This is made available through our affiliation with the Provincial Registered Music Teachers’ Association and the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Association. The Comprehensive Public General Liability coverage is for “activities normal to the provision of music instruction” to a liability limit of $5 million. This covers your studio and travel with students to another venue, such as a field trip, recital, or seniors’ homes.
NEWSLETTERS AND MAGAZINES
Members receive four Edmonton Branch newsletters each year. Local, provincial and national upcoming events, workshops, conferences and continuing education opportunities are highlighted, along with other timely information.
iREWARDS CARD DISCOUNT
By showing your ARMTA membership card at any Edmonton Chapters store, you can buy the iREWARDS card for $15 (a $5 saving) to receive discounts at Chapters, Indigo or Coles.
PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING
Get to know other registered music teachers and members of Edmonton’s musical community, which you will value as much for the camaraderie as for the professional connections.
MEMBERSHIP APPRECIATION NIGHT
An informal social evening for members to renew old friendships, meet new members, catch up on news and just have fun. Features complimentary hors-d’oeuvres, a cash bar, entertainment and door prizes. A good time is had by one and all!

Membership fees for ARMTA Edmonton Branch are as follows:
$65 full year
$32.50 half year (if registering between October 1 & March 31)
