Scholarship Through ARMTA Recital Sponsorship

*an annual award established in 1996

ARMTA Edmonton Branch invites applications from advanced students of branch members planning to pursue further studies with a focus on performance. The successful applicant(s) (solo or ensemble), will be sponsored in the performance of a full-length recital, and receive all proceeds from the event.

Requirements:
Applicants must:
1. Perform at the associate level or higher, and be pursuing further studies with a focus on performance.
2. Be the current regular student(s) of a member or members of ARMTA Edmonton Branch.
3. Submit a resume or curriculum vitae, together with a proposed study plan.
4. Submit a recent (within 6 months) PROFESSIONAL QUALITY recording of solo repertoire totaling 45 minutes maximum. If there is any question as to what constitutes solo repertoire, please phone the president listed below. Please note that a concerto is not considered solo repertoire.
5. Proposed recital program (approximately 75 minutes) should accompany the application.
6. Participate actively with the committee in the planning of the recital.The Award will be given only once to any recipient(s).
ARMTA Edmonton Branch reserves the right to withhold the award should no worthy application be received.
